I should admit I have been a huge fan of all Christmas ads by Coca-Cola but this year the “Snow Globe” campaign truly managed to capture the holiday spirit. The new TV ad "Snow Globe" introduces the topic of the campaign about how people find happiness through everyday moments that connect them with their families. The idea is rotated about the crystal ball that Santa Claus shakes and thus brings together people who are away from their relatives and loved ones on Christmas Eve. The feeling of festive atmosphere is further instilled by Train’s ’Shake Up Christmas’ song, which might come as a surprise to those who used to associate Coca-Cola Christmas ads with the ‘holidays are coming’ song. This advert is still in consistency with what Coca-Cola have come up with for their Christmas campaigns over the years, and yet is a fresh remake that once again succeeds to revive the meaning and spirit of Christmas. And indeed going all the way from the spectacular to the magical, this ad invokes sweet memories of Christmas.
