The advert compares fairy watching up liquid with a cheap pair of tights. The advert is meant in a humorous manner and is obviously tackling the issue of price. Fairy state that sometimes you have to spend more to get more, demonstrated with the tights breaking therefore the two men ending up in prison. The play on words works well - Fairyconomy links the products name and the fact they are not like the tights - False Economy. nWe feel the advert over comes a main issue in a fun and to the point manner. Fairy are not denying that they are more expensive then the rest, however they are demonstrating that you do not need as much - a little goes along way philosophy. n
