About this advert
10 October, 2010,
This ad was advertised across the Hong Kong MTR station (tube station). The sizes and the areas between the escalators were covered with a big view of Hong Kong highways traffic jam. In order to illustrate that DHL has an incredible ability to deliver in terms of the time is shorter and the delivery is faster. The moving handrails of the escalators were stuck with some little yellow DHL vans which acted as the DHL vans were racing past through the traffic jam. DHL aims to provide everyone who needs to have a delivery service by offering them a fastest service without any obstacles and congestions. This ad can increase the recall of the product or the brand efficiently. This is because lots of people will pass or travel by tube. Furthermore, generally there is a very long way to walk to the platform and it doesn’t have any scenery to see; therefore, people are forced to read the advertising along the way. Also, using this type of media to advertise the product probably can attract the similar number of target market and save more money compared with the advertising on TV.
