The concept of patriotism is clearly being used as a way of drawing customers away from the temptation of swapping networking deals, with the use of the Bahrain flag and the girl wearing arabic national dress. However, although its fair to say that the brand is easily recognised, this advert would be lost on those who happen to not know what the purpose of the company is. There is no information suggesting Batelco is a better choice than the new companies. The simplicity of the advert is eye catching and it seems to speak to the market segment (people who feel patriotism towards their country).
